FREE ENTRY / We See Magazine (Women-Only Documentary Photography Magazine) - Call for Publication

We See magazine, femLENS' annual women-only documentary photography publication, is excited to announce an open call for submissions for our 8th issue, dedicated to the @welens_project. The Welens project aims to combat gender-based violence (GBV) and sexual exploitation through comprehensive educational modules and communication campaigns. This special edition of We See will highlight stories of organisations working together to combat GBV, deepen understanding and raise awareness of these critical global issues. We invite women photographers and visual storytellers to submit their work that aligns with our mission. We are looking for compelling photographic narratives and individual photos that explore themes related to GBV, sexual exploitation, resilience, and the experiences of marginalised communities and activists. Each submission should include a brief text providing context and insight into the story behind the images.
