Swedish Artist Residency Network - Emergencies Residencies

SWAN - Swedish artist residency network work together with Artists at risk as fast as we can for artists fleeing from or displaced from, the war in Ukraine to get to a safe residence in Sweden.

We are cooperating with Artist at Risk for artists to have as quick an application process as possible.

The Emergency residencies in SWAN network adapt to the needs of the artists regarding time and production is not obligatory but provided.

At the moment we have about 20 artist residencies available for single artists, groups or families.

SWAN residencies aim to host artists for minimum 3 moth says,

funded with accommodation, art and production grant.

If you want to come to a SWAN artist residency please state preferred country Sweden when you are filling in the form.

Applying artists and cultural workers can make a preference of which country to stay in residence.

Artists at Risk have Emergency residencies in many European countries.
