Women have been central figures in the history of photography, both as subjects and as creative forces behind the camera. From documentary photography to fashion and fine art, women have shaped the way we see the world, using the medium to tell stories, challenge perspectives, and capture the beauty of life.
For the 46th edition of AAP Magazine, we invite photographers to submit a cohesive series of images or a compelling portfolio that highlights women—whether through their achievements, resilience, or artistic expression. We are looking for powerful visual storytelling that explores the multifaceted nature of women’s lives.
The theme is open to interpretation, allowing for submissions across a broad range of genres, including portrait, documentary, nude, commercial, sports, and fine art photography. Photographers are encouraged to use any technique, whether working with digital or film, black and white or color, experimental or classic styles.
Selected photographers will receive $1,000 in cash awards, have their winning work featured in AAP Magazine Issue #46, and benefit from extensive media exposure and global recognition. This competition is an opportunity to showcase your vision, celebrate the impact of women, and contribute to a powerful collective narrative through photography.
