This competition is designed to bring attention to the most captivating mountain-themed photo essays, with the goal of honoring outstanding visual storytelling through a sequence of still images. Photographers are invited to submit their works, focusing on stories that celebrate mountains in all their diversity. These stories can cover a wide array of themes, including cultural traditions, thrilling adventures, unique wildlife, exhilarating sports, pressing environmental issues, or the rich natural history of mountain landscapes.
Our esteemed panel of jurors will evaluate submissions based on their ability to tell a compelling and cohesive story through a series of images. Each photograph should possess the strength to stand alone as a remarkable piece of art, yet together, they should form a unified narrative that resonates with viewers. The sequence and flow, as determined by the photographer, are crucial in conveying the overarching message or story of the essay.
