The Florida Museum of Photographic Arts invites photographers worldwide to participate in an international photography competition, sponsored by Visit Tampa Bay. A jury of art and photography experts will select the winners, who will be notified by June 2. Top entries will be exhibited at the museum from July 10 to August 8, 2025. Judges will evaluate images based on originality, technical skill, composition, artistic merit, and impact. Three winners will be chosen per category, with an overall Best in Competition winner receiving a grand cash prize. All winning photos will be printed and displayed at the museum in Ybor City, Tampa.
The Florida Museum of Photographic Arts is dedicated to showcasing significant photographic works that reflect contemporary culture. Through exhibitions and community outreach, FMoPA preserves, collects, and educates, fostering a deeper appreciation of photography as an art form.
