Throughout history, human beings have built, lived in, and ultimately abandoned architectural spaces, leaving behind structures that stand as ghostly reminders of the past. This exhibit seeks to explore these abandoned places—not just as relics of neglect but as profound symbols of history, transition, and the ever-changing nature of human civilization. From the skeletal remains of once-thriving factories to the hollowed-out shells of homes long forgotten, these spaces tell stories of labor, life, and loss. Alongside the buildings, scattered artifacts—personal effects, tools, and furniture—paint a picture of those who once occupied these places, their presence still palpable through the objects they left behind. Photography allows us to capture these fragile moments in time, preserving them against the relentless forces of nature and urban development. By exploring these forgotten spaces, we not only pay homage to their past but also raise questions about preservation, decay, and what we choose to remember as a society.
