We are excited to extend an open invitation to artists, photographers, and creatives from around the world to submit their work for consideration. We are particularly interested in projects that explore and engage with the broad spectrum of climate actions currently taking place globally. Climate action is happening on many levels, and we encourage submissions that critically examine efforts by individuals, grassroots movements, and larger societal initiatives dedicated to addressing climate change. Examples of such actions could include innovative methods for reducing carbon footprints, efforts to support circular economies, creative projects that promote biodiversity, visual critiques that expose instances of greenwashing, or works that shine a light on movements fostering climate justice.
What creative approaches are welcome? In addition to traditional documentary photography, independent photojournalism, and socially engaged artistic practices, we are also enthusiastic about seeing works that employ more introspective, personal, or conceptual methods. Diaries, experimental approaches, and abstract reflections on climate action are equally encouraged, as long as they highlight meaningful responses to environmental challenges.
We ask that submissions go beyond simply raising awareness about the devastating impacts of climate change. Instead, we are looking for visual projects that actively illustrate how individuals, communities, and larger social groups are driving positive change in the fight against climate crisis. By sharing these vital stories, we can collectively inspire action, hope, and meaningful engagement with climate solutions.
