The Sarajevo Photography Festival (SPF) is an internationally recognized annual event that celebrates the art of photography in the heart of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Since its inception in 2022, SPF has rapidly grown into a key meeting point for both emerging and established photographers, offering a dynamic platform for artistic collaboration, cultural dialogue, and the exploration of pressing social issues through visual storytelling.

The upcoming 2025 edition, scheduled to take place from June 9 to June 15, will continue its tradition of highlighting socially relevant themes, with a particular focus on topics such as human rights, identity, and cultural heritage. Through curated exhibitions and thought-provoking discussions, SPF aims to provide a voice to diverse narratives, shedding light on critical global and local issues.
Attracting submissions from nearly 60 countries since its launch, SPF has positioned itself as one of the most significant networking hubs for photographers in the region. Each year, it brings together visual artists from different backgrounds, encouraging meaningful artistic exchange while reinforcing Sarajevo’s role as a vibrant cultural and creative center.
